PAR-1
Status: Completed 10/01/08
The PAR-1 incorporates a single 400 V 470 uF Capacitor and 12 layer 22 gauge coil. Initially it fired a 30 mm round at 27 m/s, projectile length was reduced to 25 mm and velocity was increased to 29 m/s resulting in a decrease in efficiency from 6.1% to 6.0%, an acceptable loss. The rifle also includes a targeting laser and LED flashlight, the switch is located near the gun’s handle for easy Off/Laser/LED switching.
